Article Entry: I came into work and as usual logged into my e-mail. I noticed there were a lot of messages from Etsy. Most were e-mail notifications letting me know that people had added me to their circle. I was super excited looking through the Etsy messages since I have never gotten so many in one day and I notice I had a sale as well! I recently started using search ads on Etsy and I thought wow this is really working! Then I noticed a message from a fellow Etsian that one of the treasuries she created that featured my Apple Pillow made it to the frontpage! I have been feeling a little down about my Etsy business and this couldn't have come at a better time to re-motivate me to push forward with my business. All the new hearts, favorites, and of course the sale due to being on the frontpage is really helping me feel like people do like my stuff. I am just so thrilled that one of my pillows made it to the frontpage. I really never thought my pillows would ever make it on there. I just wish I had been awake to see it. How awesome it would have been to check on Etsy like I usually do 10,000 times a day and see my pillow on the frontpage! I am so happy that my apple and yellow bell pepper pillows sold. They were sold to the same customer so I'll probably add a gift to her order. Usually when I get an order, I get really happy but when I start packing the items I do get a little sad. I think it is because I spend so much time making them that it makes it hard to part with. I know I can make another one but since each one is handmade I know it won't be exactly the same. It's silly cause I can't keep all my pillows or it wouldn't be a business but sometimes I still think of the Large Apple Pillow I made that was sold. In the end I just want to make and sell more pillows. The more I sell, the more I can make. I can keep the ones I really really like though. Here is the Treasury that made it to the frontpage.
